RESEARCH LIBRARY of Tomsk State University

English for Everyone

English-Speaking Tuesdays & Fridays

The English Reading Room of the TSU Research Library and the TSU International Division invite all those wishing to improve their English speaking skills to take part in weekly meetings held by Jean Kollantai (TSU Faculty of Philosophy) and Alina Dunlap (Fulbright Teaching Assistant TSU Faculty of Philology). The meetings are held in English with these native speakers present, and sometimes others as well, and are informal.

We welcome everyone, including our international visitors working or studying at our university.

To participate in the club sessions, please get a Reader Card. How can I get a TSU Research Library Reader Card?

English-Speaking Fridays are open to all the users of the Research Library: students, graduates, and staff of TSU and other Tomsk universities and Library users from the general public.

English-Speaking Tuesdays are open to Library users who already have at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, including postgraduates, postdocs, faculty, and staff of TSU and other Tomsk universities and from the general public.

Every Tuesday beginning October 11 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The meetings take place in the English Reading Room, on the 3rd floor of the New Building and refreshments are provided.
