Christie A. The clocks

This is a detective story from the Queen of Crime – Agatha Christie. Sheila Webb, a typist, comes to the house of a retired blind teacher to do her job. Entering the house, she stumbles upon a corpse of an older man stabbed to death. And there are clocks all around... Mrs. Pebmarsh, the blind owner of the house, denies requesting the services of a typist, but somebody did. And neither of the women knows the victim. As Scotland Yard fails to crack the case, Hercule Poirot takes up investigating it. Why were all those clocks there? Who was the dead man and why was he killed? Who is the killer? Hercule Poirot solves the case without ever leaving his house.
