Myron V. Dewey : the small-town library cat who touched the world

This is a heartwarming story about a cat that was found in a public library’s after-hours book return in Spencer, a small town in northern Iowa. It was a cold January morning when the library staff heard strange noises from the library drop box. It turned out to be a kitten just 2 months old, very dirty and shivering from cold. The staff members were so charmed by the kitten that they decided to keep him in the library and named him after a famous American librarian – Dewey. Over time, Dewey enchanted the people of Spencer and became famous all around the world! The book tells funny and moving to tears stories about the relationships between the cat and the library staff and patrons.
