An updated course of online lectures in French «L’histoire de Paris» («The History of Paris») will start from October 1. The lectures will be held on Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:00.

The lecturer is Michele Debrenne, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Associate Professor at the Romano-Germanic Philology Section at the Institute for the Humanities, Novosibirsk State University.

Several years ago, Michele Debrenne already introduced listeners to the history of Paris from its foundation to the present. Since then, the course has been enriched with new materials and includes new lectures – on reconstruction of the Notre-Dame Cathedral and on the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The series of 12 online lectures will last until December 17. It is organized by the International Resource Center of the TSU Research Library with the support of the TSU International Division.
